My work in film and TV

Music video

Co-directed and produced the music video to the Icelandic Hlustendaverðlaun 2020 song of the year with a $0 budget.

The artists are some of the biggest pop icons in the Icelandic music scene and the song was a nationwide phenom. The music video cemented its place as a legendary track widely loved.

Music Video

Co-directed, produced, edited and color graded the low-budget western music video to Kúreki Götunnar by the sibling band Celebs.

The entire video was shot in Flateyri, a tiny fishing town in the north-western corner of Iceland over a snowy weekend in December. The team proved that a dedicated group can achieve remarkable things without a production budget if the will to create is strong.

TV

Blackport (Verbúðin)

Standby props for the Edda award winning production design team.

During the second shooting phase of the award winning series, making sure that each props is accounted for and ready to be used was my main assignment.

As a period piece, each prop was extra valuable and often brittle. Everything had to be handled with care and dedication to the project which I firmly believe to be showcased in the final product.

TV

True Detective: Night Country

2nd unit standby props.

The fourth season of the critically acclaimed TV series was shot (almost) entirely in Iceland during the cold winter of 2023-2024. As the standby props for the 2nd unit, my job was so handle all props on set for stunt doubles, extras and even main cast.

Music Video

Co-directed, produced, directed photography and post-production.

Another zero-budget music video. This time taking the form of a live-show-montage of the band Celebs’s performance at the Icelandic rock festical Aldrei Fór Ég Suður, held annualy in my hometown of Iceland.
